Cold days outside

Wow, who is sick of Edmonton weather?

I know we are. I would love to be able to go for winter walks with Wren, pulling her behind me in her sled, or letting her toddle around in our backyard eating snow, but it's too cold to even do that- so we stay inside.

I made a pair of legwarmers for Wrennie's friend Isla. They were so cute I had to make a pair for Wren since they are such a quick project.

Ah, Wrennie is trying to clip her own toenails...

I even made a pair of legwarmers for myself this year. It only took me 7 tries to get them right. (As in, ripping them out that many times. I had even finished one whole warmer and then ripped it out, realizing it was way too wide. Sometimes my own perseverance amazes me.)

Sometimes our house is a bit chilly, and we find fun sweaters given to Wren so long ago. It's fun to put them on her and just, well, take a picture.

I also need to get going again on my travel tales. I sort of fell out of it when I was figuring out how to purchase more photo space for my blog- because what is a travel tale without a picture or two? So hopefully I can finish Part Two of Avignon, France and get to the good stuff. The real good stuff!
