Easter Weekend= fun times with too much chocolate

Come on over to our house, we have way...waaaayyy too much chocolate.

It all started at Nana and Papa's with an Easter egg hunt for Wrennie.

She actually "got it" and went around looking for plastic eggs with real treats inside.

Here she finds one with Kenton at the water cooler...

After about 5 eggs found, Wren is finished and takes a breather with Nana.

We also went to my parents on Sunday for some Easter eats, but I forgot the camera, and sadly have nothing to show for that day! 

If I had brought it, you would have seen Wrennie in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard, with Uncle Cam and Aunty Andrea, eating and playing with a bubble set they bought for her. It came with a huge bubble wand to make great big bubbles, and even Wren could make a few by waving it around. She had so much fun popping them, and then coming back to eat off of everyone else's plates.

This morning (Monday), Wren woke up with the best bed-head we have seen yet. It was so hilarious, I just had to take a picture to share...

This is what happens when you go to sleep with wet hair after a bath. She looks like that baby in The Incredibles that can burst into flames....because he is a super-hero baby. You had to see it I guess.

After first nap, we went to the park to enjoy another beautiful day outside. It was Wren's first reunion with the swings since last summer. She couldn't get enough.

This was a funny moment of the day. We tried to walk back to the car, Wren had other plans. She wanted to walk her own direction, so we let her go for a bit and then..

...Kenton chased after her and she ran...

...and he got her...

...scooped her up...(at top speed of course)...

...lifted her up...

...came running back...

...that hair! and her perfectly straight little feet...

...and back!!

Later in the afternoon, we did some cleaning up/playing in the backyard.

It was so fun to watch her dig her hands in dirt, and have fun getting messy and running around outside. We are so excited for the summer and spending as much time outside as we can with her!
