TWOS is the strangest acronym. Telus World of Science, that is where we went to see the Sesame Street exhibit going on right now. We were surprised to find a life sized Elmo at the door!
Wrennie was so excited, she kept saying "Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi!" and waving to him.
There was lots of fun things to do, especially for little ones her age. There were lots of stations talking about health, the body, and movement.
Here we are at "digestion" with Oscar the Grouch. This special button says "poo" below it and when you press it you hear a humongous fart and a flush. Yum.

There was Hooper's Store where you could buy pretend groceries and have some pretend lunch.
Wrennie purchased a lot of oranges that day...
Having "lunch" with Aunty.
There was a station called "Elmo's World". She instantly recognized this from tv.
"Pinch me, is this real?"
There was a computer station with trivia. She answered everything correctly with complete and grammatically correct sentences.
Then we headed to the pretend bathroom where the mirror lit up when you touched the toothbrush, turned on the taps, etc.
This was the only glimpse of Abby Cadabby we saw that day. Unfortunately they didn't have anything for Cookie Monster, Big Bird or Abby, except for this little station.
Getting a shot with Ernie...with crazy eyes.
Wrennie had a ton of fun, which was great, because the price for just myself to get in was fairly high. But everything was totally age appropriate, even for someone as young as her and she had a blast!
Amy!! It has been a few months since I've checked out your blog... okay, maybe 2 months. But I just realized that you would not have seen or gotten the FB invite to our kids' joint party this weekend! And I don't have your phone number!!!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if it works for you guys, but would be so lovely to see you all! Email me...? a_tetz@shaw.ca
I don't want to put my phone # on here.
If it doesn't work, we'll have to come up for a visit.
I just love how happy Wren is with all the Sesame Street folks!
