My first is a book that would be nice on a coffee table, if I had one. Here is the link to the book, The Sartorialist by Scott Schuman, and the blog. His blog is like a sneak peek into different cities and the interesting and stylish ways people dress. I'm always amazed at the shoes so many of the women wear for a stroll down the street or a bike ride- they are often very high boots or heels of some sort...I could never, so I just live vicariously through them.
My second book is a cook book from Smitten Kitchen. I love Deb Perleman's recipes. I don't know if I have even tried one yet, but I would love to. Having a paper copy of her recipes will make them much easier to follow when the book is sitting on my counter top. Here is the link to her book, Smitten Kitchen, and her blog.
Design Sponge is a book I already have, and love, and think you should too. Grace Bonney's blog can be found here. This book has shown me that decorating doesn't have to be all matchy-matchy, and she gives really great do-it-yourself ideas for projects, which I love and wish I had more time for! It also looks good on the shelf or table :)
