Not surprisingly, we haven't left our house for the past 2 days. I realize not everyone has this luxury, as I have no job to clock in at and can stay home every single day if I want.
But the girls both have colds and why would I drag us out of our warm house with movies and blankets just for the sake of going out.
In other news, Ellie loves her bottle, the Bubba. That's just what it's called.
She is such a big girl (literally) that she can even feed it to herself. Today she was on the rug while Wren had her snack at the table. Wren makes Ellie laugh more than anyone else and I caught a few pictures of her giggling behind her bottle...
I can honestly say that I don't miss breastfeeding at all. I am so happy that I was able to breastfeed Ellie for 9 months and so happy to let it go. I think she is pretty pleased with feeding herself too...
Wren's preschool experience is also going very well- okay that's a bit of an understatement. She LOVES it. She knows most of the kid's names and comes home happy and satisfied from her morning out. I've already signed her up for next September (she will still be too young for kindergarten by then).
How big does Ellie look with those teeth? She is growing up lots.

The construction on the new house next door has started. For anyone who doesn't know, last summer the house next to us was bulldozed in preparation for a new one to be built. The plans were delayed (they should have started the spring Ellie was born) but they just started now. I'm not excited about this but I'm thankful they didn't start when Ellie was a newborn because my house is already shaking with the loud booms next door.
I'm excited for the warmer weather and the chance to get out of the house on the noisier days!
So glad to hear the transition has gone well!
