So what is new with Wrennie?
She loves to talk. "Ahh ahh! Oh ahh ahh! Mmm mum mm mm!"

She loves to sing, especially to a cd I have of Keane. If I play it in the house, or in the car, she sings. The only difference in the car is that in mid breath, she falls asleep.
She is trying to crawl. She gets closer to getting it every day. It takes so much out of her that she lays her head down on the floor and gets depressed until someone helps her back up.
She still gets up at least once in the night. I don't really know why. I think her body is just used to getting up at that time and so she wakes. We are working on that one.
She still loves her bathtime and playing with her rubber duckies! She doesn't quite understand why they float away every time she reaches for them.
When we go grocery shopping together, she now likes to sit in the cart like a big girl. She is a bit wobbly, and loves to try to grab the grocery list. Not to mention she charms all of the employees.
This is her new uncle Cam. He was uncle Cam before, but now it's official!
Wrennie also had her very first sleepover on the weekend and slept through the night for Nana. I wonder what Nana's secret was??
Today I took her to get her monthly weigh & measure. She is growing steadily, staying in the 97th percentile as per usual. She now weighs 21 lbs 3 oz and is 28.5 inches long.
New favourite foods: Smashed up avocado, sweet potato, pears, always loves bananas and apples, butternut squash and so on. I try to make as much of her food as I can. Those hand mixers are great for that. Baby Mum-Mum crackers are also a hit, she can basically feed them to herself. In the second picture at the top of this post, she is eating out of this mesh thing that is holding a banana. She sucks the banana through it on her own. It's great, except I actually have to give her a bath afterwards because she rubs it all over herself, and the Bumbo chair, and the table!
Being outside is her most favourite activity. I plunk her in the stroller in the backyard and do my "gardening" around her. That consists of weeding and watering 3 flower planters, 1 herb planter, and 4 pots of flowers. But hey, it's all I can really handle right now. I mean, today I felt pretty awesome for sweeping up the dead crap around the patio. It's looking like someone really cares about this place!!
Having a 7 month old in the summer is so wonderful. I really mean it. She just enjoys being outside so much, and I love playing with her on at least 4 layers of blankets in the backyard- our grass is really dry and prickly. I still have yet to take her swimming though, soon soon.
Month 7- rated on a scale of 1 to 10, I would say is a 10. All the months are a 10 in their own way though :)
Amy, you are just a fabulous mom. I love your final comment on this post. Also, in the top photo - is Wren's hair thickening up on top? The tuft looks like it's growing!
