Cute baby projects

Before Wrennie was born, I started a knitting project for her. Okay, I had already done 3 baby sweaters and then this was the last one I managed to finished just after she was born. I was ambitious...and a little bored in my time off. Anyway, the blue dress is called a "Smockie". I can't remember what size I made it for, but at the time I was trying to make it really big so that it would fit her later on. I didn't anticipate how fast she would grow of course and she is fitting into it already. It has been a little too warm outside lately for her to wear it, but I had to get a picture of her in it. That is the whole point of putting impractical clothes on babies, right?

Amanda gives me her children's hand-me-downs all the time, and I love it. She made this hat for Avelle a while back. When I put it on Wrennie, I had to laugh. The hat covers any hair she has, making her look like a little baldy. I think it's totally cute though, and worth another picture!

Some people have been wondering if she is still wearing her helmet all the time and the answer is yes. However, on really hot days, we give her poor hot head a break. And sometimes it comes off for photos!

  1. I think she looks like a G-Unit in the hat. I'm buying her a toy gun.
