I think I need a new camera. I follow a few blogs where the writers have amazing cameras and take beautiful pictures. I also have a theory that if you have a really expensive camera, and somewhat of a creative eye, you can take some pretty darn good photos. Therefore, I shall have to win the lottery, buy this camera...and maybe decorate my entire house in Anthropologie merchandise.
The latest blog I have started to follow has inspired me in the photography department of my life.
It has also inspired me in motherhood as well:
I cried my eyes out reading the story of her daughter's birth, Nella. It was as if I was reading the alternative story to Wrennie's birth, if life had gone a different way. That is probably why it touched me so much. Not to mention, the photos taken at the birth (I promise, nothing graphic!) capture all the emotion that unfolded once she saw her daughter for the first time and discovered she had Down Syndrome.
The rest of her blog is beautiful and uplifting. I love reading it. I love looking at her pictures. And I think you should check it out, even if it is just a peek.
P.S. These are the first strawberries from my plant in the backyard. My plants live :)
I so call dibs on your old camera.
