At the park

Oh how my blogging has slowed...almost to a complete stop. Working full time has been crazy. I have no time for anything- part time was the life!

Somehow we still manage to get out to a park with Wrennie on a weekend.

She is turning into a big kid faster and faster. The only time she is like a baby anymore is when she is in the bath with all her hair wet and stuck to her head, or asleep with a soother in her crib.
Other than that, she is chatty, playing, and running around at all times.

But she still gets tired out and just needs to be held...

Explorations.

Wren likes exploring in the wilderness...of the city. She loves hiding in the tress and scrambling through bushes. She also loves that hat and picked it out specifically to wear on her adventures.

These are her Monday adventures with Kenton. I've only been full time for barely 3 weeks now, and I am totally wishing I was back to my old routine at home. I'm not totally bummed, but working part time was such a nice easy life that I could have held onto for longer if it would have been possible. But, in a short time, I will be back at home again in the spring. Hurray! (Yeah, yeah I know, but with two kids and being exhausted and it's still work staying at home..etc.etc.) Still, I look forward to it.

It's such a busy year right now. At work, we call it "Surge" because the bulk of the work we do in one year happens now. The November birthdays/anniversaries in our family are coming up and also keep us going, along with the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner.
I'm still trying to find Wren a Halloween costume, I'm not impressed with Old Navy's crap selection of "cupcakes" and "strawberries" this year.

And if anyone wants to lend me maternity clothes they aren't using, I'd love you forever. I mostly have shorts and tanks from being preggo over the summer with Wren, but this time around I'm needing pants!!

Fast and Furious: Fisher Price Turbo

Watch out for this kiddie in her new wheels. The church near my parents house had their community garage sale and we found a car for Wren:

No, she didn't fall asleep at the wheel, she is already breaking the law...talking on her "hand phone" while driving.

Move it or lose it! (I don't know where she picked that up.)

She has yet to actually get in motion. Notice, all pictures are taken in the exact same spot.

Did you hear?

We have some news we'd like to share...

Look closely at the sign, it's a little hard to see...

Wrennie's going to be a big sister! Baby #2 is due to arrive in the beginning of May, and we are SO excited!

I am currently feeling tired, dizzy, nauseous, and in a constant state of sick at all times in case you were curious. But we can't wait to find out what we are having, and to decorate another baby room and move Wren into a big girl room! Hurray!

Pj's and Stories

When it's time for bed, it's time for what we call "Pj's, stories and a bubba".
It's a time to relax and have quiet time as a family once the craziness of coming home from work, having dinner, cleaning up dishes and bath time is over.

Now that I am back to work full time, it feels all the crazier trying to stuff all of those things into an hour or so. Somehow we usually get this kid into bed at 7pm though! It is possible. With the evening getting a bit darker now, it's slightly easier.

But no matter how busy, tiring, fun, and exciting Wren's day was, she's not always thrilled to head to the crib.

Now that I take a look at the pictures again, I have this feeling that all of them were taken in the morning instead.... :)
