Wren reads.

Wrennie has a special spot on the shelf for her books. Her books actually take up 3 or 4 squares on the shelf to tell you the truth.

We are on night 3 of our "sleep training"...aka. "crying it out". It's...going? Last night it took an hour for her to fall asleep. Tonight, who knows, she is still crying. I blog to stay sane, even though the computer is in the room next to hers, by the vent, so I can hear it all. All the chokes, gags, sobs, screams, etc.
I tell you all this because you might be a parent like us needing some really detailed accounts of what it is like, and know you are not alone. It took a long-distance friend of ours to give us a step by step and detailed run down of what they did with their kids. I guess that was our final push to actually do this, we needed to know exactly how someone else did it.

We now have more of a routine for her,
bathtime, play in the living room, change diaper, bottle and stories in her room, and then to the crib for cries.

Okay, so she only cried for half an hour tonight. Yes! Did she puke? I don't know, I only checked on her once...and after I left, who knows what happened in there. Oh well, she still wakes up in the middle of the night for a bottle, and we are slowly weaning that one, we just don't want to do everything at once. We will clean her then, poor stinky barf baby.

Well now that she is asleep, off I go to do something in my free evening time :)

(Hmm...Is that even somewhat positive and reassuring coming from someone without children? Hope so, just a bit)
