Fun couch pillows

Yesterday I had a wave of inspiration. Something looked bare on our couch...and it wasn't Wrennie's bum. I decided this couch needed some pillows. But with it's shape, regular square pillows just didn't seem right. 

I dug up some favourite leftover fabric a friend gave me, and went to work figuring out measurements and style for a couple of long pillows.

I have to admit, I ran out of pillow stuffing...I maybe have to go back one day and re-stuff these babies. But for now they are fine.

I love the pattern too, it's from a Liz Claiborne line. 

I also ensured I could remove the cases to wash them...with a kid in the house, that is necessary! I chose an envelope style opening for the back to slide the pillow in and out of the case.

Now to get some things up on the walls...but that is another day!
