Are you waiting for photos of our Christmas?

I finally uploaded a bunch. Here is a snapshot of our Christmas..

We spent Christmas Eve at Andrea and Cam's house with my parents.

Ellie liked dancing right behind Grandpa as he cooked in the kitchen. That's just asking to get stepped on.

Wren was so excited to wear her Christmas dress and have her hair curled.

We opened presents and Ellie fell in love with...
a bar of soap. Don't ask me why, I have no clue. Maybe because she likes to eat the bar of Dove we have in the bathroom by the sink?

Aunty Andrea and Uncle Cam...

Mom and Dad...

Wren was totally tired already because she couldn't sleep the night before, she was too excited about the food, presents, and mostly the presents.

Ellie finally dropped the soap when they opened their dolly castle.

Dolls for the castle. Wren was pumped.

Ellie just wanted anything that needed opening.
The rest of the day we ate food, went to the Christmas Eve service (where I spent the whole time in the nursery with Ellie because she couldn't sit still, of course. She proceeded to steal other kids goldfish crackers. ) and watched Elf.

When we got home that night the girls got into their new jammies...so cozy!

The next morning we videotaped the girls opening presents on Christmas morning. Ellie thought she would give it a whirl as well. They were so excited and moved so quick this year that I didn't even get a shot of them actually opening a single present!

This year we decided to give them one present each, and then a couple of of stocking stuffers. At first we felt weird only giving them one gift, but after the opened it, they loved their new toys and were completely satisfied without having to open a ton of stuff. (Parent win!). They loved their flashlights and made us turn out the lights to shine the light around the house.

I think Wren must have been watching a show here or something, but Ellie had to climb up and on her back. Oh Ellie!

Christmas Day we spent at Kenton's parents (Nana and Papa's).

Once again, Uncle Jordan dressed up as Santa. He was trying to be sneaky and was going to go upstairs to change into his outfit and then go outside and ring the doorbell to the house. But before he could go upstairs, Wren went over and said "Uncle Jordan, are you going to go put your Santa suit on??". Everyone burst out laughing, and we were surprised she remembered!
Flashback to last year:

Last year Wren wasn't so sure of Santa, but this year she thought it was the best! Ellie on the other hand looked bewildered and backed up until she reached Kenton and then still cowered away, poor thing!

Wren had set milk and cookies out for Santa and even a couple of carrots for the reindeer at our house on Christmas Eve before she went to bed. But after she was asleep, we took the cookies off the plate leaving a few crumbs, left just the tops of the carrots on the plate and an empty milk glass.
In the morning she was astounded and said "Santa at dem ALL!!" At first she told us she didn't even hear a thing, but later as she kept retelling the story she would say, "I heard a clatter! I saw the reindeer on the roof! I heard Santa come down the chimney!".

Ellie didn't make this shot...she wouldn't go near Santa. Good thing we didn't bother taking them for that photo in the mall!

Grandma and Grandpa Spiers were on their way home but their car got stuck near the driveway so Santa went to go push them out. The girls cheered from the front window.

Isn't Ellie such a big girl now? Sheesh. She is talking more too. Anytime she hears a door open and close (mostly at our house) she runs and says "Hi Daddy!!"

The girls got a scooter from an uncle, and instantly Ellie was in love. She has her backpack on and ready for a ride.

Wren was thrilled with a princess costume and this pretend candle that you can actually blow out! She likes having it in her room for a "night light".
After we were done at Nana and Papa's house, we headed over to see the rest of the family at the Edward's home and ate a Christmas dinner together and hung out with more cousins and such. The girls were pretty tired after the big days they had!

Flashback to last year:

And our family of 4 this year, Christmas 2013!
